About Us
Our Story
Ami’s Touch debuted at the Sykesville Flowers & Artisans event in downtown Sykesville, MD in May 2009 selling Ami's handmade cards and creations. Ami and her family chose this wonderful community to call home and thought that this was the perfect setting to begin sharing Ami's creativity. Ami began her hobby many years ago with crafts in general, however, found her true passion in scrapbooking and card making.
Many have inquired on the unique products Ami uses in her creations and this along with the surprise pregnancy and birth of her youngest daughter spun the direction of the business to the sale of supplies into what is known as Ami's Touch Paper Boutique, a unique traveling Paper Boutique with the finest collection of scrapbooking paper, embellishments, adhesives and other paper crafting tools and supplies.
In 2019, after 10 years in business, we've added the hosting of weekend retreats at the beautiful Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City to our offerings. We chose this location for it's beauty and hospitality as well as the proximity to our community so there were no missed horse lessons, spring flings, girl scout meetings and all those events so important to little (and big) souls!
